
About Pat
Executive Producer Pat Doyle is a founding partner of One Up who has been plying his trade in the film & TV industry for 25 years. In that time he has produced hundreds of hours of content for major broadcasters around the world, receiving a hatful of awards along the way, including three National Television Awards, an RTS and multiple BAFTA nominations. After producing a number of shows for Channel 4, Pat’s big break came in 2006 when he was hired as the Series Producer of BBC’s 'Top Gear’, the most widely watched, non-fiction TV show on the planet. In the wake of his long association with Clarkson and co, Pat has gone on to produce a long list of hit TV series, including ‘Pineapple Dance Studios’, ‘Wheeler Dealers’, ‘Challenge Anneka’ and ‘GPs: Behind Closed Doors’.
Background
Pat was raised in a small village in a quiet corner of England. After earning a degree in Politics from the University of Bristol, Pat moved to London to seek his fortune. He failed, instead finding work as a runner in a TV post-production company. When his employers tired of his atrocious tea-making skills, they trained him as an editor. Pat would go on to work as a sports reporter, camera operator, script writer, director, live show producer, exec producer and esports producer. He lives in London with his family, a psychotic cat and One Up’s Head Of Security, Max The Dog.
